Born and raised in L.A and unanimously awarded “the nicest guy ever”, Justin’s catalyst for boxing was the moment he found out he had Type 1 Diabetes close to ten years ago—boxing very quickly went from being a health solution to a hobby to a full time career, “I am so excited to have BoxU and its community come on the next step of this decade-long boxing journey with me.

If he’s not boxing, he’s hanging with the same friends he has had since childhood, grilling in the backyard.

    An advanced movement to add variation to the basic hook. The check hook is used to step off to a new angle in traditional boxing. We use it at BoxUnion to add diversity to our movements in class.
